(so, this may have been a very bad idea but I'm going to let it play out for a day or two)
1) All feminisms deny the created order of the sexes.
2) All feminisms are rooted in gnosticism by their anthropology and theology and in marxist-liberationism by their socio-political theory and practice.
3) Egalitarianism is more properly called religious feminism because it presents a difference in degree, but not in kind, from other feminisms.
Is #1 a tautology?
ReplyDeleteScratch that, it's not -- it just occurred to me than an ungodly masculinism could do the same thing. So feminism does not precisely equal "that which denies the created order of the sexes."
