I believe you would look doubled over a certain piece of porcelain in your household had you the misfortune to eat lutefisk... I have never actually eaten it... after seeing it and smelling it I could not bring myself to do it. I have, however had ooscaca (spelling?) and lingonberries...
Hi Kamilla, No ooscaca... it's a "whole milk" cheesecake kind of thing... not the amazing taste of cream cheese, but the heaviness of whole milk all "solid".... not my favorite. Now, lingonberries on the other hand are amazing... however I can no longer eat berries so I'm left with no swedish foods besides "meatballs" and "pancakes".. YUM!
Glad you survived the Lutefisk... the family gave up that tradition just before I married David!

Ethic?
Nick,
You say potato, I say potatoe, right? It's fixed.
Kim,
I HAVE eaten Lutefisk and lived to tell. Are you thinking of Krumkake? It's a thin, rolled cookie.
