Once a burlesque prop, the nearly light as air feather boa is an appropriate part of the priestess costume. The only surprise is that it isn't hot pimk. Be sure to check the comments at the Bad Vestments link below, but put swallow the coffee and put the bagel down first.

Such a joyful spirit! :) I love her smile. She looks very pleased to honour God as a pastor. Who cares about the boa? She probably had a reason to wear it - which we don't know about.

Given the state of the church in your country I little doubt that you will accept any reason given for wearing the boa to be an adequate and just reason.

Well said, especially since these days the Church of England will accept any reason given for doing and believing just about ANYTHING at all.
