Since you have publicly (and quite falsely) ridiculed at least two of these men, you can be assured I won't be taking much notice of your opinion on whether or not their friendship speaks well of me. I know it speaks better of them than it does of me - for they have earned my deep, deep affection and respect despite the fact that I used to share your opinion of them.
I love them and I thank my God for putting them in my life. And thank you for giving me an excuse to say that publicly.
Where did i insult your friends? First I don't know who they are and i don't recall mentioning other people on this blog. please point out where you believe i have done this.
Really? You are really going to feign ignorance here?
I know from your participation in certain discussions which are publicly available on the internet that you have either been reading their blogs yourself or are participating in conversations with those who do - and insults run rampant in those conversations, my dear.
I know this because unless you have some secret access to blogger codes, that is the only way you could have found this blog. It is not generally publicized.
I think Fr. Bill already took care of that with his reponse. To which I can only add, the coyness does not become one who is middle-aged and a self-proclaimed "bible teacher".

Aaah to be appreciated by leaders speaks well of yourself - depending upon the leaders.

What are you talking about. ???
I'm sorry, which part of, "I generally ignore people who insult my friends" did you not understand?

not wise to build doctrines on assumptions. :)
Nor is it prudent to act coy about matters that anyone can ask Mother Google to verify.
Don't even need Google, just click on "believer333"!

How many of those can there be? Hi TL.
LOL There is still the question of 'where did i insult your friends', Kamilla. I discuss Scripture, doctrine, interpretations, etc..... not people.
Still at it, huh TL? How's the gang?
> not wise to build doctrines on assumptions.
Not wise to build feminist doctrines on wishful thinking. Not wise to go spreading around false gospels and fiddling with Scripture.
> I discuss Scripture, doctrine, interpretations, etc..... not people.
I'm extremely tempted to make a comment here from personal experience, but I'd better not, since I don't have any current info. Aloha.
> I discuss Scripture, doctrine, interpretations, etc..... not people.
Okay, here is a current/local discrepancy:
"Aaah to be appreciated by leaders speaks well of yourself - depending upon the leaders."
This is talking about people, not "Scripture, doctrines, or interpretations." The implication is that it is no honor to be appreciated by bad leaders.
On to more productive things...
